The Tomelilla Health Center is a well-functioning, fully staffed, and stable unit with about 30 employees, where you as an employee get the chance to work in an open, permissive, and unpretentious work environment. We work in interdisciplinary teams and we respect each other's competencies and understand individual needs and experiences. Our highest priority is to offer our 7,800 registered patients a broad, high-quality, and professional care through safety and high accessibility. We are located in Österlen with good commuting opportunities to Ystad, Simrishamn, and Malmö.

With us, you will find general practitioners, resident and intern doctors, district nurses, general nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, psychotherapists, and medical secretaries.

At the Tomelilla Health Center, we offer a variety of clinics, including a doctor's clinic as well as district nurse and nursing clinics. We also have specialized clinics for diabetes, asthma/COPD, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, and hypertension/heart failure. Our nursing assistants also run their own clinic. Additionally, we have a newly opened family center, located just a stone's throw from the health center.

We have a low staff turnover, which has allowed us to develop a working method where all professional categories work with high competence and good continuity, always with the patient in focus. We are a health center, not just a doctor's office!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As one of our nurses is retiring in the spring, we now have the opportunity to welcome a new colleague who wants to become part of our wonderful team.

As a nurse with us, you will be offered a varied job where, based on the patients' needs, you prioritize, give advice, and coordinate together in the team, where all professional categories are included. Additionally, you will work with telephone advice, triaging over the phone or on-site, and have your own nurse or district nurse clinic.

We always strive to develop and continuously work to improve our operations. Therefore, we want you to be involved and influence the work with us by contributing your experience and competence.

As a newly hired nurse, you will be offered an introduction based on your previous experiences. Everyone has an individual learning process, and we see it as a given that you will receive support to become confident in your new role.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare, preferably with further education as a district nurse. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are a requirement. Experience in primary care and good user skills in the PMO journal system are advantageous.

As a person, you have a positive attitude as well as a drive and commitment to your work. Additionally, you are passionate about caring for and providing a warm welcome to both patients and colleagues. We also value your ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
